Field-Tested Flow Battery Expertise

Introduction

Pinflow Energy Storage develops and delivers electrochemical flow battery systems engineered for scalable performance, from laboratory-scale experimentation to pilot and field deployment. Our core competencies include stacked flow cell architectures, precision-controlled modular hydraulics, and integrated sensor arrays combined with advanced process control. This system-level approach enables stable operation, reproducible electrochemical performance, and robust data acquisition under realistic operating conditions, supporting both fundamental research and applied energy storage development.

Demonstrated Deployments

Pinflow’s track record includes multiple fully operational systems that demonstrate long-term durability, efficiency, and reliability under real-world conditions. Notably, eight 5 kW vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) field units are currently deployed across distributed sites, operating continuously and collectively logging thousands of charge-discharge cycles.

15 kW Containerized Installation

A containerized energy storage system deployed at the Písek wastewater treatment facility, integrating 15 kW / 70 kWh of vanadium redox flow battery storage with on-site biomass energy generation. The installation supports load balancing and energy optimization under real operating conditions.
