Team Pinned: The Power Behind the Flow
Pinflow deliver custom systems and expert solutions, from laboratory research to industrial-scale applications, empowering partners in the energy, chemical, and environmental sectors to accelerate innovation, improve efficiency, and bring new technologies to life.
Our multidisciplinary team combines experienced scientists, engineers, and startup managers, with over fourteen years of expertise in redox flow batteries, electrosynthesis and fuel cells. Since our founding in 2017 as a spin-off from the New Technologies Research Centre at the University of West Bohemia, we have focused on technological specialties and hybrid solutions, initially licensing advanced vanadium redox flow battery stacks.
We collaborate closely with our customers to tailor design concepts to their specific applications. We supply reliable systems for research and development, as well as for quality control of active materials used in redox flow batteries, electrolysers, and fuel cells. Our proprietary software and unique test rigs enable comprehensive characterization of phenomena in flow electrochemical processes, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. We also design and manufacture full-scale technological pilots and customized flow electrochemical reactors to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Everything started in 2011 with the idea of creating safer, scalable, and long-lasting energy storage. After years of dedicated research and development, Pinflow was founded in 2017.
